The 2017 Mideast Regional Police Collectors Show is being held at the beautiful Galt House Hotel & Convention Center located at 140 N. 4th St. in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. This is a very police-friendly hotel who has been an absolute pleasure to work with and has provided reduced rates from their normal fees in order to permit us to have a reasonably priced show at their location. Without their willingness to work with me, there is no way possible we could have a two-day show at this location without table prices being at or above National Show prices.
As pictured above, the hotel has two towers with an atrium in between them (there is a bar in that atrium where you might find me after show hours!)
There are three types of rooms available. Each has its advantages and disadvantages which I will explain below.
Option 1: Guest Suite - $139.00 per night + tax.
These rooms are located in the same tower as the exhibit hall and are the best option in my opinion. Each suite has a full-size living room area with a pullout sofa, refrigerator and safe. The biggest disadvantage is that there are only 21 king-bed suites and all the others are two double beds.
Option 2: Standard Guest Room - $119.00 per night + tax.
These rooms are in the west tower across the street from the exhibit space. There are more king beds available in this area and the price is less. These rooms do not have refrigerators or safes.
Option 3: Waterfront Guest Suite - $159.00 per night + tax.
These rooms are located in the west tower across the street from the exhibit hall. They have waterfront views and a private balcony. Each suite has a full-size living room area as well. The biggest disadvantage is the distance from the exhibit space.
